Washington - D.C., USA (us.gov.krd) - Representative Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman had a virtual meeting with Congressman Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, as well as the Kurdish American Congressional Caucus, on July 21. 

Ms. Abdul Rahman provided an update on the security and economic situation in Kurdistan Region and Iraq. She thanked him for his staunch support and invited him to visit Kurdistan.

Congressman Ruben Gallego represents the 7th District of Arizona, including parts of Phoenix, Glendale, and Tolleson, in the U.S. House of Representatives. He is a Marine Corps combat veteran, a lifelong community leader, and the son of Hispanic immigrants.
