Washington, DC, USA (us.gov.krd) - The Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in the United States was proud to co-host a meeting on September 11, 2018 to discuss a range of issues related to religious freedom in the Kurdistan Region. The roundtable discussion was held at the Catholic University of America and also co-hosted with the International Religious Freedom (IRF) Roundtable.

The meeting included nearly 50 civil society organizations, faith communities, and US government officials sharing pressing issues and ideas for further engagement to support religious freedom initiatives.

The meeting follows a similar meeting in July hosted by KRG and the IRF Roundtable. During the meeting, upcoming roundtable meetings in Detroit and Kurdistan were discussed.
