KRG Prime Minister Oversees Signing of Major Energy Agreements in Washington

Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani presided over the signing of two significant energy agreements during a ceremony held Monday evening at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C.

The agreements, signed between the KRG and two major companies—HKN Energy and WesternZagros—aim to advance the development of the Region’s oil sector. Valued at tens of billions of dollars, these deals mark a major step forward in expanding energy cooperation and investment in the Kurdistan Region.
