Washington, DC, USA (us.gov.krd) - Representative Abdul Rahman visited the US Department of Energy on January 23 to meet with Dr. Matthew Zais, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Office of International Affairs.

Representative Abdul Rahman and PDAS Zais discussed the need to prioritize coordination on actions in order to boost the region’s energy security and possibilities for expanding the role of US energy companies in the Kurdistan Region. They also discussed events in Iraq and the region.
