Boston, MA, USA (us.gov.krd) - Several Boston-area universities hosted KRG Representative Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman for public and private events on November 29 and 30.

The Representative was hosted for a talk at Harvard Law School, in an event moderated by Rez Gardi, a Kurdish student currently studying law at Harvard.

Representative Abdul Rahman spoke at a University of Massachusetts - Boston event for students and members of the Kurdish community in Boston, hosted by the Kurdish Students Association. Earlier this year, the Kurdish Students Association successfully lobbying their school's administration to hang the Kurdistan flag in the student union building.

She was also hosted for roundtable discussions with graduate students and faculty at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and The Fletcher School at Tufts University.

This was Representative Abdul Rahman's second official trip to Boston.
