Washington, DC, USA (us.gov.krd) – Representative Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman and her team had a cordial meeting with the Barzani Charity Foundation's administrative board member Mr. Awat Mustafa on March 21.

Mr. Mustafa briefed the KRG team about the humanitarian situation in the Kurdistan Region and the broad range of services the foundation provides.

The two sides emphasized the continuing need for humanitarian assistance to meet the needs of the displaced people and explored opportunities for collaboration.

The Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization founded in 2005. Prime Minister Masrour Barzani is Chairman of BCF's Board of Founders. The organization has Consultative Status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), and it is registered as a 501c3 organization in the United States.
