Washington DC, USA (us.gov.krd) – The KRG Representative to the United States, Ms. Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, along with officials from the Kurdistan Region Presidency and the Kurdistan Regional Government, engaged in a productive roundtable discussion with representatives from the US State Department's Near Eastern Affairs Iraq team. 

The discussion covered various topics, including the region's political, economic, and security developments. Participants exchanged views on key issues of mutual interest, including the ongoing fight against terrorism, regional stability, and energy cooperation.  .

The Kurdistan officials emphasized the importance of the US-Kurdistan-Iraq partnership in promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and expressed their appreciation for the continued support of the US government.

The US State Department  reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to  supporting the Kurdistan Region and Iraq in their efforts to build a better future for their people.
