Washington, DC, USA (us.gov.krd) – Representative Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman had a productive meeting with Jacques Etienne and the economic team at the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs on September 27.

They discussed investment opportunities, agricultural development, climate challenges, and Kurdistan's growing potential as a tourist destination. They also discussed the banking sector and ways of support private sector growth in Kurdistan.

The Kurdistan Regional Government is committed to continuing its economic reforms by digitizing services, cutting red tape, and increasing transparency.
