Washington, DC, USA (us.gov.krd) – Representative Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman and Tokhir Mirzoev, the Mission Chief for Iraq at the International Monetary Fund, this week discussed Kurdistan's economy in a virtual meeting.

The KRG Representative to the United States and Mr. Mirzoev met virtually on February 18 to discuss the Kurdistan Region's economic situation and the IMF's work in Iraq.

They discussed the economic challenges facing the Kurdistan Regional Government, the impact of Covid-19 on public health and the economy, and how the IMF can assist the people of Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region.
