Washington, DC, USA (us.gov.krd) – KRG Representative Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman hosted a meeting with Hişyar Özsoy, the People’s Democratic Party (Halkların Demokratik Partisi) Co-chair of Foreign Affairs, and Giran Ozcan, the Party’s Representative in Washington. They discussed a range of issues related to the status of the security, prosperity, and rights of the Kurdish people in the Middle East.

Earlier in the week, Representative Abdul Rahman visited Congress to meet with Senator Angus King and discuss the latest political and humanitarian developments in the region, as well as the resurgence of ISIS in Iraq and the importance of the US-Kurdistan security partnership.
