Washington - D.C., USA (us.gov.krd) – The United States Kurdistan Business Council (USKBC) hosted a virtual event with Ms. Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, Kurdistan Regional Government Representative to the United States, and David Copley, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Iraq Affairs in the U.S. Department of State's Near Eastern Affairs Bureau on September 9, 2020.

David Tafuri, President and founding member of the USKBC, moderated the event and provided the opening remarks. The meeting also included business executives, academics, and officials from financial institutions and governmental agencies.

The discussion covered the US-Iraq Strategic Dialogue, Erbil-Baghdad relations, and investment opportunities in the Kurdistan Region. Representative Abdul Rahman thanked USKBC members for their commitment to and investment in the Kurdistan Region.
